However, if you did cancel your subscription and have been getting repeated emails claiming you need to update your payment information, it’s possible that what you’ve received is not from Netflix at all, but actually, a scam email that is trying to get you to put in personal information. If your payment information has become invalid without canceling the account (such as if a debit card you used to pay for your subscription expired) then you would have received a communication from Netflix telling you about it, and that your account is suspended until your payment info was updated.
